Factory floor

Founded in 1985, Shanghai Volkswagen Automotive Co., Ltd. is a Sino-German joint venture. After the former Fiat Nanjing Factory being acquired by Volkswagen, it is now the production bases for the new Passat. In 2010, ARDEX was specified to the renovation project of Nanjing Volkswagen Factory. The old flooring was severely damaged, unsmooth and lack of damp proof layer. ARDEX offered a comprehensive solution proposal with damp proof system, 6mm high strength self-leveling and polyurethane mortar, achieved damp proof, leveled floor, anti-scratch and abrasion resistant. ARDEX products which are used to the project include ARDEX WPM 256 Water based epoxy bonding bridge; ARDEX WPM 300 Water based epoxy membrane, ARDEX K 320 High early strength self-leveling topping and ARDEX R 70 P Medium duty polyurethane screed.
